GYPSEYE jewellery is hand crafted by local artisans in India, which means each and every piece is unique.
METAL
All GYPSEYE pieces are made of 925k sterling silver 18ct gold plated and while plated metals are more susceptible to chipping and colour fading, still require specific love and care.
To keep your pieces as pristine as possible, we recommend reducing exposure to moisture, lotions, fake tan, hairspray, perfumes and water. We recommend not to swim or shower in your gold plated jewellery as well as taking off before exercise as it can tarnish the metal.
It is best to keep your pieces in their original box covered with cotton or a cotton cloth. To clean your jewellery it is also best to use a soft cotton cloth.
Due to the nature of metal plating, and the frequency of wear, over time it can rub off and or discolour. This is a natural part of the wear and tear and is not considered a manufacturing fault.
Please keep in mind, everyone is different and sometimes your skin may react differently to certain materials.
Earring Butterfly post backs - in case these become loose after wearing, you can push the two ends of the post back tightly and it will come back into shape.
Earring stick - in case any demold happens then with very delicate hands bring it back into shape.
GEM STONES
GYPSEYE uses semi-precious gemstones in their pieces which may vary in colour and size. Your piece will bear individual characteristics and although equally as beautiful and unique, it may vary slightly from the photograph shown on the website.
Please look at all photos provided of the product to see the variances. If you have a special request for a particular colour tone please email the team before placing an order.
We are regrettably not able to exchange for a different piece based on the characteristics of the stones. Please note certain items with multiple stones may also vary in colour due to their nature and this is a feature which GYPSEYE embraces adding to its unique qualities.
Take care to protect your jewellery from impact against hard or abrasive surfaces as well as avoiding household chemicals, extreme temperatures and over-exposure to sunlight which may cause some discolouring.
The jewellery is handmade and can be very fragile. If it is dropped on a hard surface it could break or stones could loosen. If pressure is placed on the earring posts or if they are bent out of shape they can weaken. This can result in breakage. Please ensure to keep your earrings in the original packaging to prevent this from occurring. GYPSEYE is not required to fix items that have been broken or replace stones due to wear and tear.
